Classroom Expectations

Follow the Lynx Way!

We are Respectful, Responsible Safe, Kind, Active Learners

"Do what is right, not what you can get away with."

Eighth grade students are experienced in the school setting. Reminders of appropriate behavior, including general courtesy and good manners, should not be necessary. It is expected that all school policies will be followed, including (but not limited to) cell phone use, compliance with the dress code, arriving on time and prepared for class, respecting the opinions and rights of other students and school staff, etc. Reminders will be offered, and offenses dealt with individually as the need arises. Additional requests may be made by the teacher to facilitate maintenace of a learning environment; these are to be respected just as if they were school policy.

Rule: Respect others, yourself, time, and property.

"I am not concerned with you liking or disliking me. All I ask is that you respect me as a human being."

-Jackie Robinson

It is expected that all classwork, homework and projects are done

carefully, accurately, and on time.
